We are continuing with the pavement rehabilitation project to Johnston Avenue from San Jacinto Street to Stanford Street in the East Hemet area. Crews are scheduled to apply Slurry Seal (wet surface) on Johnston Avenue from Stanford St. to Dartmouth St. (ROAD CLOSED for one day) and preparing for the installation of traffic stripe and pavement markings. Slurry Seal is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2024.

Lakepointe Drive Resurfacing weekly update: Crews removed and replaced about a quarter mile of asphalt pavement on Lakepointe Drive from Southern Sun Summit Drive towards Indiana Avenue in the Community of Lake Hills. The reconstruction of Lakepointe Drive will continue to Indiana Avenue. Various sections of roadway will be “dirt” and “uneven” - Please drive slow, observe construction warning signs, and follow traffic control staff’s directions while traveling through the work zone.
